Marbe Agee, IIDA, ASID, LEED A.P., NCIDQ, Principal

Marbe has been involved in design in some aspect her entire life.  She began designing and making her own clothes at a young age, ultimately earning a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and business merchandising from Florida State University.  Eventually she would realize that while the fashion industry was creative, it did not allow her to make the fulfilling social impact she hoped. Soul searching led her to the field of commercial architecture which she describes as “A profession that affects society in a profound and impactful way by directly influencing the way people live, work, and function within the built environment”.

Marbe’s natural curiosity for how things are built and how building systems function drove her to learn as much as possible from the Architects, production staff, engineers, and contractors she has collaborated with over her career.  This passion for the built environment has resulted in her appointment to the position of Director of Interior Design in three of the firms for which she has worked. Moreover, she has spent the last decade mentoring and attempting to instill this love of interior architecture in designers, architects, and clients. Marbe has designed for architecture firms in Atlanta, North Carolina and Salt Lake finding her home at Method Studio.  She is best described as an annoyingly positive Southerner that loves people.

Marbe is a leading expert in creating branded environments for corporate clients with award winning work.  She believes that collaborating with the client to create something meaningful and uniquely their own is the real measure of project success.  “Spaces should be intuitive – beautifully telling the client’s branded story.  Behind every well designed, jaw dropping project is a good client”.
