AJ Ansbergs

AJ was born and raised in West Jordan. Ever since she was a little girl she was in love with creativity; specifically in creating environments. Being a total “Daddy’s Girl” and wanting to do everything he did, AJ grew up watching every “Home Time” and “This Old House” episode right next to him every Saturday and Sunday morning. She would help him with all the home improvements he worked on. AJ has always been fascinated with the process of watching something become an idea on paper, then turn into the final reward of a beautiful building or environment.

AJ graduated from Snow College with an Associate’s Degree, and later from Utah State University in Interior Design (Studio Emphasis). After Utah State, AJ had the opportunity to intern which led to an employment position in New York City at Nathan Egan Interiors, in SoHo. New York was a great experience where AJ found inspiration literally around every corner.

AJ is motivated to create the most beautiful environments that she can imagine; environments that she would love to spend time in, to learn and be successful in, and that satisfy the needs of her clients. Making others happy makes her happy. She loves to do the very best she can, and learn from seasoned experts who know more than she does about the subjects she loves.

Before coming to Method Studio AJ was a designer at Insight Exhibits for 3 years. She designed trade show booths for shows and conventions like CES, Outdoor Retailer and SEMA; and for Companies like Skullcandy, Razr, Jaybird, Family Search, REI and WesTech. The booths could vary in size from 5,000 sq ft to 100 sq ft. She also designed spaces like museums and higher education displays: AJ’s most proud of her work on the Wayne Estes Center Lobby at Utah State University.

AJ and her boyfriend live in the the Avenues of Salt Lake, where they have fallen in love with the city. They love to go hiking and camping in the mountains, and the city life and entertainment in the city. AJ loves Real Salt Lake soccer and attends every game. If she had it her way in life she would also visit Disneyland every year.
