Jessica Batty

Since she was young, Jessica has loved learning about how things work and how they are made. Daughter of a quintessential “handyman” and tradesman, she grew up helping fix things and learning to build others.  When Jessica discovered architecture it fit her creative nature perfectly; she never looked back. She studied at the University of Utah, completing her Bachelors in Architectural Design in 2010, then her MBA and M.Arch by the summer of 2013.

Architecture combines three of the activities Jessica loves to do most: designing, making, and traveling. Over the course of her studies Jessica traveled as much as possible. She loved visiting architecture in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco for school and she was able to live for a semester in France and then Chicago. Jessica’s goal is to one day have lived in 5 different countries and have 50 different stamps in her passport.

When Jessica isn’t traveling you will find her hanging around downtown, designing and building objects with friends, playing tennis, or camping out under the stars.
