The challenge and vision of this new office space was to convert 10,000 square feet of existing office space into an environment that carefully merged several departments including marketing, sales, engineering design, testing laboratories, light manufacturing, and executive conference space, into a team oriented, flexible, collaborative environment. Our primary design objective was to put the entire inner workings of the company on display, while carefully locating boundaries and thresholds, zones, links and nodes where employees interact.   The arrangement was optimized by centralizing additional conference rooms, design labs, and product testing areas, and surrounding them with low-partitioned modular workstations organized by departments and teams. Large spans of glass enclosures were installed to maintain visual connectivity throughout the entire office, while providing sound isolation where needed.
