Jared Barnett

A curiosity for how the built environment effects social structures is at the heart of what has sparked Jared’s interest in architecture.  As a child growing up in Shawnee, Kansas, a small suburban town, Jared traveled to a variety of unique urban fabrics from London to Athens to Tel Aviv.  Getting lost in the physical and cultural overlaps of these cities is how he found his passion for architecture.

Jared received his Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University where his thesis explored the intersection of social structures and the built environment through the design of a municipal archive and council chamber for Jackson, MS.

He loves to spend time with his family outside of work.  They enjoy everything from tailgating at Kansas City Chiefs games to long intense dinner table discussion about current issues.  Jared’s girlfriend also shares a passion for architecture, however they like to wind down with some southern cooking and a good film.
