Orem City Fire Training Facility

The new Orem Fire Training Facility located in Orem, Utah, will provide training for firefighters and emergency first responders. The site will house the state-of-the-art 7,314-square-foot Orem Fire Training Facility and a fire tower where firefighters will train in fighting simulated fires. The exterior and interior finish palette embraces the subtle red line that responders try to prevent. Exterior materials include dark grey slate tile shingles, metal panel, and a thin red line, accentuated by a canopy over the entrance that welcomes trainees. The facility features a large, divisible training room for flexibility, a dedicated public entry, an adjacent warming kitchen, EMS training, laundry for training gear, five restrooms with showers for use after tower training, two offices, and three apparatus bays.
