Dancing Moose Montessori School is a new 1-story classroom building for Pre-K through 2nd grade students adjacent to Thanksgiving Point’s Electric Park. This project serves parents working in the many high-tech companies on Lehi’s Silicon Slopes. Indoor/outdoor educational spaces feature safety, comfort, natural daylight, and nature views and focus on age/height-appropriate learning opportunities. In addition to classrooms, the program of spaces includes a library/waiting area for parents, STEAM Lab, a large multipurpose gym, and a commercial kitchen. Site improvements include safe drop-off and short-term parking spots, three fenced outdoor play areas with various play/climbing apparatus with synthetic turf and soft fall areas, outdoor educational gathering areas, and a programmed garden with w/many garden boxes, as well as a stand-alone garden house/workshop w/restrooms (renovated Electric Park Gatehouse).
