Davis County’s Legacy Event Center Complex renovation and development project in Farmington, Utah will be the premier Youth Multisport Complex in the region. Designed to accommodate a wide range of events – from dance competitions to wrestling, basketball, and volleyball tournaments, and high-school graduations to industry expos – the facility will contribute to the County’s effort to maximize economic impact through increased hotel and restaurant tax dollars. When complete, the project will offer 120,000 square-feet of indoor event space, a championship synthetic turf field (with 1,000 bleacher seats, sport-lighting, new restrooms and scoreboard), seven full-sized natural-grass fields for soccer, rugby, lacrosse, and ultimate frisbee, and parking for up to 2,000 guests. Leveraging the existing event space, fields, and other site amenities will be the key strategy for stretching project dollars.
